FILTER PLATE MACHINIST


We are a fast paced, custom plastic injection molding company. The machining department is half production half job shop. A lot of troubleshooting goes on and the ability to react quickly and solve problems on the fly is needed.

Machinists through multiple set ups each day and require that all department employees learn set ups, track quality and production numbers, and be self-motivated and willing to learn.

Heavy lifting is not often required (more than 50 lbs) but, sometimes is needed.
Safety, Quality, Production is the order that we get our job done.

Qualifications:

  • Strong communicators (handwriting and verbal)
  • Able to lift 40+ lbs.
  • Able to work in Metric
  • Haas machine controller familiarity
  • Reliable transportation

FILTER PLATE FINISHER


We are a fast paced, custom plastic injection molding company. Filter plate finishing is the last step in the machining process for filter plates and finishers are responsible for making sure no bad parts go out to our customers. Different tools are used on a daily basis including power drills, X-Acto knives, scrapers, air drills, tape measures, etc. A finisher’s job is to deburr sharp edges, drill porting holes, and any other fine tuning and detail work required to ensure we send quality plates to our customers.

CNC MACHINE PROCESS ENGINEER


Envirotech Molded Products, a producer of larger plastic filter plates and other custom molded plastic products, is seeking a skilled individual to join our team and assist with new product implementation and continual cost reduction projects, while helping to maintain molds and product integrity.

The job requires a natural aptitude for mechanics and mathematics. You must also have strong written and oral communication skills for dealing with clients, supervisors, and other engineers. You must adapt to different industries and changing technologies, listening to and understanding the needs of each client, while balancing their budgetary constraints with frequent deadlines. The best engineers will also have flexible attitudes and the ability to address inevitable problems with confidence and a team-oriented mindset. A strong machining and CNC programming background and proficiency with Solidworks and HMS Works is preferred. Experience with CAD/CAM is required. A successful candidate will have a proven track record of developing projects for design through fixturing, tooling, and project management to steady production.

Qualifications:

  • Technical degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 5 years’ hands on machining and programming experience, specifically with mills and lathes
  • Ability to use CAD software for layout and design. Autocad and Solidworks are preferred
  • Must be able to program both manually and with CAM software
  • Strong blue print reading skills and use of measuring devices
  • Ability to optimize speeds and feeds and minimize cycle times
  • Must have strong math skills including simple trigonometry
  • Must have fixture design experience. Use of vacuum chuck style fixturing is a plus
  • Requires holding relatively tight tolerances on plastic machined parts
  • Experience with variable programming and macros
  • Strong problem solving skills
  • Ability to work under pressure to meet timelines, cost targets, and quality expectations
  • Strong communication skills and proven leadership results
  • Willing to support operations 7 days a week, 24 hours a day as needed from time to time
  • Experience machining plastic a plus
  • Experience programming and operating CNC screw machines are also a plus

WAREHOUSE WORKER


Department: Manufacturing Management (329)
EnviroTech Molded Products, Inc. is looking for a warehouse worker to participate in our warehouse operations at our Salt Lake City plant.

Job Description:
The selected individual will be responsible for inventory control, product shipment, loading and unloading trucks and supporting production departments as needed. Must be a hard worker, punctual, and be able to pay attention to details. Must also have the ability to understand mathematical conversions, reading comprehension, coordination of task/projects, social perceptiveness and communication.

Hours: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM Monday – Friday

Job Responsibilities:

  • Store all materials from the staging areas into the warehouse
  • Mix resins according to requested demand and issue to the designated department
  • Assure all inventory returned is accepted by the quality department prior to storage
  • Recording all warehouse inventory transactions
  • Keep the warehouse clean and organized, including maintaining location control in the computer inventory record
  • Prepares products for shipment, including packaging, weighing, crating as required
  • Load and unload trucks as needed
  • Serve as backup for shipping coordinator

Job Qualifications:
